gladys

Gladys was made on sept. 13th the final day i made a sand sculpture at Hanlan’s.

Yeah it took me long to post as i find it a lot more interesting doing sculpture than plugging away behind a computer.

She had a heart on her twat and flowers as nipples. After all gladys was a doll.

Her hair held up her head and she was left to watch over my favourite beach until the next time.

arthur

I spent New Year’s Eve with arthur. We did not consummate as he is cold and  frigid but what a sight to watch.

Presently arthur leans in my backyard and has lost his other head. Perhaps 11 inches is too much?

Wow all these clothed people walking around leave me longing for some nude, but warm bodies.

turquoise

Turquoise , the big fish, named after the waters it inhabits.

Pleased that snow had fallen and the temperatures were ideal for playing in the snow.

Born on Dec. 29 he presently sits frozen on my lawn today & looks great with a hat on.

dee’s beachnecklace

Dee is far but never forgotten.

The colours are alive and vivid. Much thought placed on how shades will compliment her fire red hair and glowing skin.

Friends are made every day and some go on to other adventures but they still remain in our hearts and thoughts.

Friends are precious.

the rock

I do leave a rock beside each sculpture after completed.

Reason to do so is to share with others should they be interested in seeing more.

I have found many missing the next day. Some people have told me they have them as memories of Hanlan’s at home.

Well on this day i drew on the biggest rock i could find. Only machinery or a huge effort of many people could move this one.

I am not angered by the taking of the rocks as they do not belong to me although i feel quite flattered that one would display such in the comfort of their homes.

They will forever remember the beauty of Hanlan’s and the art i share.

francisco

Francisco the snail. The name is in honour of two beautiful people i met this day.

I had fun covering myself with the dark sand and they too did the same. Sand is an awesome exfolient.

The model for this sculpture is on francisco’s back.

Every day i live and breathe i feel more connected to this planet and the life on it.

butterfly for E

Was not supposed to work this day but my friend was a little late on his visit to Hanlan’s and i started to collect sand.

While he read some chapters of his book i managed to make this butterfly.

I send butterflies to many of my loved ones. Just in thought,  not real ones.

Butterflies are totally beautiful, fragile, yet they accomplish amazing feats.

I just adore them.

Good luck E. I love you and wish you a big and beautiful life.

Hey everyone…  the biggest gift is LOVE. Spread it around.

untied girl with zucchini

Was told by a fellow artist that it looked like a Henry Moore sculpture.

Total compliment as he is a known, albeit  now dead, sculptor. Thanks.

She had lopsided boobs, but most females do. The rope at her back was loosened and she was fit with a zucchini.

Why a zucchini ? It was in abundance in the garden.

jola

We are all descendants of Africa & connected to this earth.

Celebrate our roots. Protect and nurture our mother earth and she will continue to stupefy us with her amazing wonders.

Life is bless ed!

creation

A circle of people equals a continuation of life.

A friend gave me a cherry to put in the bum hole. A seagull stole her cherry.

True story and funny!
