It was so hot ice cream came to mind.

The sugar cone was laborious but worth it.

It almost seemed as if the ice cream was melting.

A full spectrum of sand colours used.

scissoring

Two bodies, oh so close.

There are endless ways to assemble in sand and life. Oh the fun of it all.

Scissoring was hot and sweat was everywhere.

Thru art many connections are made, words shared, laughs, discussions…truly amazing experiences I am lucky to live. Humans are ever fascinating.

Today I met Michael from New York. He pranced on the beach and inquired about artists, he was sent to me.

I told him he can watch from a distance as I work alone, then I thought to sculpt him.

This day I shared my food, water, sarong and any other treats I had packed. I am always very accommodating with tourists, we must give stellar examples of humankind.

Michael was an amazing model and later I found out an amazing artist. He paints bodies. A man after my own heart. Check out his masterpieces at www.uncoverbodyart.com

We fell in love and then he left me for  New York never to be seen again.

He named the sculpture “feeling Michael”.

In June I heard news a friend had passed, his name was Michael,  odd that Michael came to meet me the day of his death. R.I.P.
